Grounded in 30 years of proprietary research on the behaviours of the most impactful leaders, the Purposeful Leadership® Assessment is based on Linkage's Purposeful Leadership® Model. It is designed to measure an individual leader’s effectiveness and inclusiveness across the five core commitments that all leaders make to their stakeholders: Inspire, Engage, Innovate, Achieve, and Become. Each commitment is supported by specific practices and leadership skills. The self- and multi-rater 360-degree feedback assessment provides insight into a leader's overall and relative performance on each commitment, the practices that make up each commitment, and the related leadership skills.

According to the Myers-Briggs Company, publisher of the MBTI instrument, more than 2 million people complete MBTI Questionnaires annually in the US alone, making it the most widely used and reliable personality assessment in the world. Over 50 years of research and use support the MBTI instrument's reliability as a useful tool for management and human resource development, career and personal counseling, team building, and improving communication.
